Description
The ability to provide effective feedback is essential for engaging team members and fostering learning and growth. In the laboratory, feedback is important because its impact extends beyond self-improvement and ultimately effects patient care. In this activity, Dr. Sarah Bean and Dr. Sara Jiang of Duke University Pathology offer best practices for giving feedback, demonstrate high-yield feedback techniques, and provide tips for making the most out of feedback received.

This activity includes six podcast episodes that you may listen to in any sequence on your PC, tablet, or smartphone. (Speakers or headset required.) It also includes downloadable job aids to help you apply techniques in your practice setting and culminates in a five-question post-test.

Passing Requirements
You have a total of three opportunities to take and pass the post-test. If you correctly answer 70% or more of the post-test items, you may claim credit. CME/SAM credit can be applied to the American Board of Pathology (ABP) Self-Assessment Module (SAM) requirements. You must pass the post-test to claim credit; therefore, if you do not pass, you cannot claim any credit.
